This Aqaba, Petra, and Wadi Rum 3-day tour delivers exquisite Middle Eastern landscapes, the wonderful beaches of Aqaba, the iconic city of Petra - one of the Seven New Wonders of the World - and an exhilarating jeep safari through Wadi Rum.
Take a ride in an advanced tour bus from Tel Aviv or Jerusalem and reach the southern city of Eilat - then swiftly cross the border into the Kingdom of Jordan. Start your adventure with a visit to Mamluk Castle, a fort overlooking the border nexus of Aqaba Bay. Then enjoy free time to explore the seaside city of Aqaba, and enjoy beach activities such as boating+snorkeling, and fun on a private beach.
Next, you'll take an exciting jeep tour of Wadi Rum, a distinctive desert wilderness with a moon-like landscape and an opportunity to snap some amazing photos. Several Star Wars movies were shot here, and you'll see why.
After an authentic, yet pampering night in a real Bedouin camp, You'll head for Petra. This extraordinary city was carved out of the red-hued desert cliffs 2,300 years ago, and its temples and tombs await you - starting with the famous Petra Treasury.
See the mysterious Djinn Blocks and the unique Obelisk Tomb, Walk in the footsteps of kings to the Royal Tombs, and take awesome shots of the Nabatean Theater from between the impressive columns.
After a night in a great hotel right next to Petra, you'll have a whole day of scouting, hiking, interesting local cuisine, and more. This is your opportunity to visit the wonderful Great Temple of Petra, and the Petra Monastery - a massive structure of rare magnificence, located at the end of a mountain trail with fabulous views.
You'll start within the seaside city of Aqaba, and walk through its colorful, picturesque little alleys. Then continue to Mamluk Castle – a 16th-century dreadnaught, offering a stunning panorama; in a single glance, you'll see Israel, Egypt, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia.
Next, you'll have free time to enjoy beach activities such as boating and snorkeling - or have fun at an awesome private beach with a pool and a Jacuzzi.
From there we'll head out to explore the fantastic Wadi Rum – a desert wilderness known as the "Valley of the Moon" – from the back of a powerful Jeep.
This outstanding tour will take you through the unique landscape, which is out of this world: The photos you'll snap will look like they were taken on a Star Wars set - both "The Rise of Skywalker" and "Rogue One" were filmed here (And for lovers of classics: "Lawrence of Arabia").

Find handmade gifts at the local Bedouin Market, hike along the towering cliffs, and take amazing pictures of the entire site. Many visitors like to finish their day at the Petra Museum, to learn how these splendid relics shaped Nabatean culture over time.

Tourists crossing the border into Jordan from Israel are required to have a visa. The tour company will assist you in the border crossing process, which could take over an hour. While making its best to speed up the procedure, the company isn't responsible for rare, unexpected delays.
Please note: not all nationalities are eligible to receive a Jordanian visa at the border! Some nationalities require an entry visa to be obtained before travel. Make sure to contact the Jordanian diplomatic mission in your country well in advance to receive the necessary approvals, if you are of the following nationalities:

Absolutely, we can store your suitcase in the luggage compartment of the vehicle.
The drive to the border crossing near Eilat will take about 5 to 6 hours. The border crossing process can take about an hour, and the drive to Petra itself will take 2.5 hours. The long drives are among the reasons some visitors prefer to take short, 1-hour flights from Tel Aviv.
The tour includes transportation from the departure point to the border and to Petra and back; entrance to Petra; lunch, and a guided tour by a local guide. If your tour includes Wadi Rum as well, it will also include accommodations: a night of glamping in an awesome Bedouine desert resort. If you also stay a night at Petra, your tour will include a lovely hotel right next to the Petra Archeological Park.
